Bio

He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás (Brazil), a M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Goiás (Brazil), and a Dr. in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Uberlândia (Brazil), which included a research period at the University of Coimbra (Portugal). He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in electromagnetic systems modeling at the Visualization and Simulation Centre (VSIM) of Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada). He is currently a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG), a permanent faculty member of the Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Coimbra (Portugal), an adjunct professor at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Goiás (IFG), and a visiting researcher at the Institute of Systems and Robotics, University of Coimbra. His research focuses on intelligent systems modeling, computational optimization, applied artificial intelligence, and technological processes with relevance to healthcare, energy, sanitation, and agriculture. He is strongly committed to scientific education, technological inclusion, and knowledge dissemination, also engaging in science promotion as a means of learning and social transformation. He has served in strategic roles as a technical consultant for applied projects involving both private companies and public institutions. His work has received international recognition for both its technical and social impact, including the Honorary Diploma Award and the Inclusive Citizen Award from ANEI Brasil. He also serves as an ad hoc reviewer and consultant for institutions such as CNPq, CAPES, FAPEG, and Yarmouk University, contributing to the evaluation and development of scientific policies and research projects at various levels.
